Solar reviews Getting free solar panels
The concept of a government saving the world by giving away a free solar panel to each and every home sounds ridiculous to most people living in Western countries, but apparently not to the Northern Irish. Last year the government provided around 500 homes with free solar panels in the name of saving Earth from Global Warming.
Obviously 500 free solar panels isn't exactly going to make a dent in overall greenhouse gas emissions, but it's a start. In addition to aiding in reducing emissions, these 500 lucky home owners ended up saving around £100 per year on their utility bills.. If only all governments were this environmentally minded.. Still, something tells me this government is definitely up for re-election soon!
Solar reviews Getting free solar panels
It's all very nice to talk about people getting a free solar panel from the government, but not everyone lives in Northern Ireland, and therefore not everyone has access to a free solar panel. However, after researching on the Internet, one would learn that it is not exactly difficult to either, a) obtain damaged solar panels from various maintenance departments, or b) build your own solar panel using a simple guide that can be obtained from the Internet.
If one was to live in an especially cloudy and bleak area like say, Scotland, where the weather is not exactly perfect for even the freest of the free solar panels, the Internet can also provide detailed schematics for homemade wind power generators. These can often be more efficient than the more famous solar panel option.
